2024-2025 General Membership Meeting Materials
The Lake Spivey Civic Association general membership meeting to be held March 26th will have several important voting matters.
2024-2025 Proposed Budget
Below is the LSCA proposed budget for 2024-2025, the budget has been tailored to match the bylaws that were passed last year. The Other Income account was an amount pulled from various money that was brought in to LSCA outside of Lake Maintenance funds or watercraft registration fees. Several items were combined in order to simplify the overall way the budget reads. If you have any questions, please email Tony Smalls at treasurer@lakespivey.org or Shawn Fulks at President@lakespivey.org

The last order of business at the March meeting will be a vote by the membership to give away a small section of property on Emerald dr. The property is off water and is approximately 40 feet wide. It is unusable to LSCA and is not eligible for separate lake rights. Because we own the property we are required to maintain it as it borders two properties with homes on them. We also pay the taxes on this property. The neighboring homeowners Tommy and Mimi Holland have agreed to pay all the costs to deed this property over to them. Doing so would save LSCA the costs of maintaining an otherwise unusable piece of land. Typically there are several trees every couple years that fall and must be cleaned up. This costs us several thousand dollars at a time.
